[ubuntu] Ubuntu 14.04 Updated Thunderbird and Broke Lightning

Hello,

If this is the wrong place to post this question, kindly move it or let me know.

Today Thunderbird in Ubuntu 14.04 automatically updated to 45.2.0, and this new version of Thunderbird is incompatible with Lightning 4.0.3.1 calendar extension.

I need to revert to the earlier (compatible!) version of Thunderbird, and prevent the automatic updates from happening again. Would anyone be able to help me?
