Hi all,
a couple of weeks ago i have bought a new laptop, an acer aspire V15 nitro, which is mounting an nvidia geforce gtx 960M, with windos 10 and gnome ubuntu 16.04 in dualboot. I have issues with the HDMI port. At first it did not seem to work at all woth both OS, then yesterday i was playing with xrandr and after a reboot it worked with both OS. Now i lost any output again. i have tried to change cable, screen and drivers, but nothing. it seems that something is disabling the port, because it is not detecting anything connected to it, both plug and play and from boot. In the bios it does not seem to be any option to activate it.
Do you have any idea on how i can fix it or do you think that there may be some hardware failure?
