Ubuntu 16.04 Chrome extremely slow, takes up 100% CPU power

I just updated from 14.04 to 16.04, everything works fine, except for Chrome, it takes up 100% of CPU with just one and is extremely slow.

I've been using Chrome since 13.04 and this is the first time it's been this slow, I've tried enabling and disabling Hardware acceleration with no change
