ZTE is launching the CSX project that everyone in the community can participate the design of new phones! So, I submitted an idea of using Ubuntu Touch as the operating system for the coming new phones. Please vote in the idea thread on the ZTE forum if you would like to see a new series of phones preinstalled with Ubuntu OS! You can also leave comments in the idea thread to make the statement more attractive!
Note: you may need to register on the ZTE forum before voting up the idea! Currently, we only have a few votes there. We need more votes to be the top 3 Big Ideas by Sep 10 to be considered by the R&D team of ZTE.
ZTE is one of the top smarphone manufacturers/sellers in the US, EU and developing countries. If they start supporting Ubuntu OS on mobile devices, things will become interesting. I will follow up in the idea thread. Thanks.
