I read that there is a Ubuntu Privacy Remix - UPR - that has no network to internet and are isolated distro where you cryptate you material to removable media.
So what is the solution?
1)
a) You have a home computer with private family Pictures and other documents using UPR - so no hackar can get there hands on that material as there does not exist any internet Connection and all material is saved on cryptated removable media so no intrusion towards your apartment will be an issue.
b) And when you want to browse the internet you can use live cd - Light Private Secure distro - LPS - which burn on CD/DVD and has no path to your harddrive and you can save files into USB stick - comes with Flash and Java so you can use all internet with no obsticals.
Down side is that you can not play games using Steam.
This is new level of thinking for me - where you can have one home computer with no network and using cryptation. But i feel i missing some fun parts just using a live cd browsing internet - like steam.
So maybe the solution is to have two home computers - one with network and one with out network.
Any suggestions or ideas or comment about similiar solutions.
Cheers
New level of security with UPR and maybe browse internet with live cd - questions
