How build the environment which git for the production and developer together the apa

Hello everybody,

I am building a repository git on server (Raspbian - Raspberry Pi). I have which goal simulate the environment the production and the developer. Where the server will provide the codes of the git and will support the management of the apache services to the web pages function. Mas question is:

The repository, which will has the version final of the code, will be the same local where the apache server will be to recall the files (html, js, css, etc)? Or this environment should be in different folders?
Because the environment will be on my machine. I will do "git clone" of the main project and after I will do the necessary commit. But I pretend when I do the commit the code be available on the environment production. For this I guess which the environment this is the same. But before I put questions about these theme I like first enlighten me about these.
